Christopher Pike Message Board

Amy_Lee posts on 12/16/2007 2:42:28 AM Hey gwenz i am not sure except i just got a message in my email saying this was shutting down. I reckon Alosha would be a big hit it probably would be like that other kids movie Bridge to Tabitha i reckon. I can't wait until it is a movie, it is a bummer that nemi is a long way from being published, i thought it was suppose to be released in October? i emailed pike asking him about Nemi and the alosha movie but he has not replied back. hope you have a merry christmas too if i dont hear from you before that. Cheers
gwenz posts on 12/13/2007 7:45:32 PM Hey Amy_Lee so glad you loved them. They are even better second read. He really is an amazing author isn't he for the fact he can write such a variety from kids, teens to adults. It is a bummer Nemi is awhile away but Alosha on the big screen would be incredible. I actually think it would be a hit for him too. It's the kind of book that should be a movie. When are these boards due to close down? If I don't get back here before Xmas hope yours is brilliant & you get lots of pressies
Amy_Lee posts on 12/10/2007 7:32:49 AM Hey there gwenz just read the alosha trilogy, i finally got the third book and have already read the three books in a matter of days! its so addictive Alosha would have to be the best books i have read in ages, just as good as the last vampire series. Both those book series would have to be my favourite all time books, they were awesome i hate now that we have to wait a while until Nemi comes out! i so want to read it now haha. Cheers

Amy_Lee posts on 11/28/2007 7:39:52 PM Hey there gwenz yeah i will have to make a new account with that site to because i forgot my old password. I will just go under as this name so it wont be hard to find me when you sign up at that site. Dymocks reckons they can't get my order in until atleast Christmas time now with the third alosha book Yanti that stinks so bad i wont start reading the first two until i get the third one. I'll keep positng to this site until they remove it then i will sign up on the other pike website. Cheers
gwenz posts on 11/20/2007 6:47:08 AM Hey Amy_Lee bet you're rapt your finished & it's holidays. Gosh closing down, still doesn't surprise me probably not worth keeping open. Yes def. will have to keep in touch via the other site. I'll have to open a new account there as I have no idea what my password/username was. I've just servers long since then so I didn't get an email. Thanks for letting me know. So everyone will have to find the other board which is a zillion times better for Pike fans. Anyone want the way to it just ask. I'm off to watch Prison Break/Heroes love those shows. Great to hear form you Amy_Lee
Amy_Lee posts on 11/20/2007 12:41:10 AM Hey gwenz just finished uni stuff on holidays now so i am back. I picked up the first two books in the alosha series, still waiting on the third i wont get it till late december if i am lucky. I know the address for that site now, i got sent an email this message board is closing soon, so we will have to keep in contact on that website. Cheers
gwenz posts on 11/18/2007 3:11:24 AM Hi bitsy, there is no date for a release of Nemi because Christopher is actually writing the script for the movie version of Alsoha. Looks like it's going to be on the big screen. I personally think it will be a hit as it's such a great story. I can't wait. So I think we'll be waiting longer for Ali, but I do agree it will be a hard wait as it left us so up in the air with Ali. Hey Amy_Lee where are you lol. I found the other Christopher fan site at last it's a great message board it's though a fans webiste. Let me know if you haven't found it I'll post how to get there. Hope everyone is geared up for Xmas
bitsy posts on 11/16/2007 8:41:04 PM hi, does anyone know when nemi by christopher pike will be released in the uk? i really really want to read it! i loved the first three, my sister bought me the yanti for christmas and i was under the impression that it was the last, i was both gutted that i didnt get to know what happened at the end and happy that there would be more to come lol
gwenz posts on 10/19/2007 6:57:06 AM Hey Amy_Lee how's things? Any sign of that last book yet? Have you picked up the first two? If so let me know what you think. I did see the audio Fallings on ebay but you can buy the actual book from amazon for about $30 delivered here probably a tad less actually. I think I def. should get it for Christmas this year. I so wish I still had all my Pike books. Just looking through ebay and seeing Weekend, The Vampire series, Chained letter, Witch, makes me so want to read them all again. He really is an author that you can re read over and over and still find something new each time which totally amazes me. I bought two Spooksville books off ebay in the U.K recently The Secret Path and Dark Corner as I lost TSP but I've never read Dark Corner or not sure if I've ever read it, it's on it's way. I just can't find The Witch'es Gift anywhere, you did well beating me to that one. Still pretty funny to think we were the two worldwide bidding on it. Small world. Every where I've tried it's at least fifity dollars and I'm not paying that for it. Hopefully one day I'll see it on ebay again. If you ever do post here and let me know.
Amy_Lee posts on 10/5/2007 6:35:57 AM Hey Gwenz you are right pike's other site is not on the web anymore i had a quick look on google but nothing came up. However i do remember a person called Leslie managed that website, and now when i had a look on google he has his own webpage dedicated to him. Maybe he decided to shut it down and just have his own site about him. You dont want to know how much those books cost me from Dymocks haha i ordered them at the bookstore here and they are costing me 22 dollars each for the three of them. At the moment on ebay they have an audio version on cd of The Falling going for about 30 dollars at the moment and has a few days left on it. If you are desperate you can bid on that but it will probably go for around $50 i might keep an eye on it.
