gwenz posts on 8/12/2007 8:49:27 AM Hey Amy_Lee glad you enjoyed the books. I don't believe The Witche's Gift was meant to be the last book in the series. I think like you said it was just another in the series. I'm trying to get hold of it not easy. I didn't realise I've never read Creepy Creature either. I'll have to watch out for that one. So you've ordered all The Alosha series. Enjoy let me know what you think. You love his Spooksville books so I know you'll love these ones. Bit more kiddy but better. The Nemi is the next Alosha book and I do believe it is out later in the year which would sound right as the other three came out around October I think so hopefully around then. As for Falling Amazon has brought the price down you can get it sent to us for about $28 so it's not too bad. I think I might invest in it in the near future. I can't believe I haven't bought it yet. I'm too busy buying on ebay ( clothes ). Let me know what you think of Alosha

Amy_Lee posts on 7/31/2007 5:47:25 AM Hey gwenz the books arrived today and i have already read them haha. They were great however i felt that the last book the witches gift was not ended like the series was meant to end, more like it was just another book that would lead onto another one. Still awesome though i love that spooksville series i have ordered the 3 books of his in the alosha trilogy from the States. You are right the falling is to expensive at the moment, because it is only available in hardback copy its $50. Can you please tell me what the Nemi is gwenz, is that a book on its own or is it another sequel to alosha? Cheers
Melissa posts on 7/28/2007 8:56:43 PM one more thing - I was just scanning through the previous posts to see if anyone has mentioned his email address because I can't seem to find it online. Seems like people keep saying to search for c. pike fan sites but that doesn't seem to be working. wondering why nobody ever posts it on here? thanks

Melissa posts on 7/28/2007 8:43:20 PM Hey, everyone - I've recently re-read all of my Pike books I bought through junior high/high school, and while I must admit there is a LOT in many of the "young adult" books that is totally corny, I still love a lot about them and was SO sad to find only 3 of his books in Barnes and Noble last night! I just finished reading The Listeners, which had the prologue to The Cold One in the back. I can't remember if I actually read that one or not, but it looked so intriguing that I was completely disappointed to not be able to buy it and start reading it last night. Does anyone know why the sequel was never written?? I'm not sure I even want to read it if it's unfinished, because that would bother me to no end... Is it worth the read anyway?
gwenz posts on 7/24/2007 12:07:22 AM Oh my gosh Amy_Lee I can't believe that. So you outbid me rrr ha ha. See you deserved it you got up at three in the morning. I figured I'd either win it or lose it with the price I put in. I saw it one other time and forgot to bid and it went for $8 I couldn't believe it. What a small world hey! Shows what Spooksville freaks we are. That's so sweet your offer to send it to me after you've read it but I actually want a copy to complete my set but gosh I appreciate the offer. Please tell us what it is about though. Hope everything is great with you. I have to say I just read the last Harry Potter book and was like Wow. Seriously I was in tears. In one chapter I couldn't see I had to put the book down lol. Great finish to a brilliant series. I'm so going to have to pick up Pike's Falling. I've heard nothing but great reviews on boards. I tried getting it here like The Yanti but it was going to be fifty three dollars. I don't think so I'll order it on line from America and even with postage it will be around half price. Let me know what you think of the book.
Amy_Lee posts on 7/20/2007 5:21:13 AM Hey gwenz, so you tried bidding for the last spooksville book hey? Well guess what, you will not believe me but i was the one who bid and won that book!! hahahahaha oh my goodness this is such a small world, if you would like, i can send it to you after i read it. I woke up at 3am in the morning ot bid on it, i was watching it on ebay. That book is one in a million and on amazon bookstore it is such a rip off at $88 american who would want to pay that. I can't believe the luck in that! You'll have to give me your email address so we can chat more there. Cheers
gwenz posts on 7/15/2007 1:56:21 AM Gosh it's amazing for someone who doesn't like his books to know gosh so much about them mmm very strange Tried bidding for the last Spooksville book last night Amy_Lee The Witche's Gift but got beat. I would of bid higher had I been awake. It was in England. I bid twenty dollars for it plus postage I so want to read the last one. I got told Amazon has some just awhile back so I shall go over and look there. Hope everyone is great.
