I finished LMT last night. It was fun and entertaining, but I wasn't wowed. I felt like something was missing. I didn't think this was the worst numbered Plum, but I didn't think it was one of the best either. I'll post more later as I don't want to post any spoilers either.

Hello everyone, I got up an hour early to read after I stayed up til midnight. I have gone crazy. Anyway, I am at the part yall are referring to re Dickie. I agree - probably Ranger knows. It is fun as always. With 12 dealing with a child clouded if for me - I knew Janet wouldn't let anything happen but I didn't like worring about it. The FTAs they are having problems with are great. Where does she get this stuff? Frankly, I don't think JE will ever truly deal with the Ranger/Joe issue because it will change the whole format. Happy reading.

Finished it last night. My friends joke her books are like crack to me. I'm not going to spoil it for others but the triangle is there! I think babes and cupcakes will be happy. And gotta love there is more for those of us who ate up the Tank and Lula pairing with a spoon.

I have started to read it. I was going to wait, but I finished up my other book I was reading and started Lean Mean late yesterday afternoon. I like it so far. Last year the reviewers were pretty off of the mark, J I wouldn't let it deter you. I think it is great so far. More to laugh at then there was in 12. I think I know what the reviewer is talking about with Joe and the Dickie situation, but I think Ranger is involved in it too. She might get mad at them both.

Hi all, I received an in-store coupon for Lean Mean 13 from Barnes & Noble by way of an e-mail. I went onto the site and onto Lean Mean 13's screen. I scrolled down to read the reviews and a few of the reviewers were disappointed. They said that the Joe/Ranger/Stephanie triangle wasn't even touched. Also one reviewer gave away a plot spoiler and suggested that Joe had really crossed the line this time by keeping Stephanie in the dark about the case of Dickie. Maybe that will blow open the door for a Ranger and Stephanie relationship, finally.

I got my copy at Walmart. I was going to just try Target, because last year, just like you CA, Walmart didn't have it out. But, I figured it was on my way to Target and if they didn't have it I would then just go to Target. However, Walmart had it and I did read the last section. The last page was only a small paragraph, not enough to hold me over. After you all read it someone has to tell me what a toaster bomb is? Enjoy!

PlumFan - I know what you mean, I would be devastated not to find it after all this time. I reserved a copy at Borders last night because I checked the stock in several stores and they didnt have it listed. Hard To Believe... But its true. I have to drive downtown. I went to WalMart last night, late, and Target just hoping that maybe they put it out early... Fat Chance. TLC - I couldnt read the last page first, It would just ruin it for me. #1JoeFan - Youre friend is so lucky that she still has books to read in the series. How long has she been reading it? I remember, just like it was yesterday, when I started the series. I read all the books in less than a month. It sounds like youre going to have fun at work today with the birthday party. Was your boss surprised? I think the book will be fun with Joe and Stephanie working together to clear her name, just like OFTM only it was Joe in trouble. I have an hour before the stores open, I can hardly stand it!

Hello everyone, It is nice to see people coming back to discuss 13. I was VERY disappointed this am. I got up an hour early and went to Wal-mart near me and they did not have Lean Mean 13 out yet. Can you believe that? I almost had a conniption fit. After all this time. But I will go to Target at lunch and wherever else I have to go to get it!!!!! TLC - what is it with the last page? Now I am thinking about all the last pages because I might be missing something. HAHA. I reread all the books this past month so I would be on top of this. #1Joe - I am so envious of you going to a signing. She is suppose to come to Dallas in Oct for No-Chance. Hopefully that is still on so I can go. If I don't get this book at lunch it might make for a PMS afternoon. I know I can't read it at work but I needed to have it on me - just because. Enjoy.
