Claire posts on 1/7/2009 4:47:57 PM Joe and Cupcake belong together. They have similar backgrounds, families,( a little nutty). Joe says he loves her. I think she said it once. Ranger doesn't make commitments but is willing to have sex. Everyone in the Burg knows Steph & Joe are together and I love the way the cops all call him when she is involved in some calamity. Ranger knows she belongs with Joe and he always she will be taken care of by him. She goes home with Joe or he takes her home. How about the guy who plays DiNello on NCIS for playing Joe? I guess he's not Italian but he plays one. These books would make a great weekly series. FUN FUN FUN.
Maxine posts on 1/6/2009 7:48:07 PM Hi Janet: A couple weeks ago I sent you and Alex a little gift. I had inquired about the address and was told to mail it to your PO box. Haven't heard if you got the box and was just wondering if it arrived. Sincerely, Maxine
Jody posts on 1/5/2009 12:54:50 PM How about Benjamin Bratt as Ranger? Works for me!

JKT posts on 1/5/2009 10:46:07 AM I've been on www.evanovich.com and in the Q&A part, there are also some suggestions of who should play the characters on TV or film. Am I the only one who shudders at the thought of these skinny-guy suggestions as Ranger? Ranger needs to have the skin color and body of The Rock, but someone who can actually act. No Orlando Bloom or guy from Twilight!
JKT posts on 1/3/2009 10:12:22 PM I agree that Stephanie should wind up with Ranger. They are more alike than Steph and Joe. Joe can't accept her for who she is and Ranger can. Plus Ranger loves her as much or more than Joe.
gloria posts on 12/30/2008 11:01:22 PM i wish you would make a seriea on stephanie plum. it would be the best comedy on tv. keep up the good writing i've had a great time reading.
debbie posts on 10/21/2008 8:32:40 PM I'm disappointed that Plum Spooky isn't coming out until after Halloween. The timing could have been better. But I'll take what I can get. :)
spice queen posts on 10/21/2008 8:15:54 PM The book was okay but nothing like her early novels which were great! The highlites were the signs of the triangle coming to resolution and the great dialogue between Joe and Stephanie. I hope their relationship continues to solidify in 15 and beyond. I have to disagree with an earlier remark that most readers want to see Stephanie hook up with Ranger. Most of the people I know that are into Plum want a happy ending for Joe and Stephanie; Ranger serves as an interesting diversion at best. And note that Ranger also wants Stephanie to change and be more like him when he asks her to carry a gun, put herself in dangerous situations and eat fermented soybeans. Those who criticize Joe for being unrelenting need to take a hard look at Ranger because he is not all that.
Macky posts on 10/19/2008 7:56:34 PM I am an avid Janet fan. I have friends and family almost from coast to coast hooked on the Plum series. I don't really care about other authors any more so yes, Janet, you have spoiled me too. Some of us came up with the idea we would read one chapter a night. Well, that didn't work ! Once you get into these stories, you just can't put them down. Can't wait for no. 15
