TLC posts on 6/19/2007 7:37:17 AM I am getting my copy today, but I am also in the middle of a book right now. We are going to the beach this weekend. I might just wait to start reading it then. Of course, I will read the last page of the book as soon as I get it! I am so bad with that. I also have to page through to see how many Morelli references there are.
#1JoeFan posts on 6/19/2007 7:29:29 AM Great mini story CA! I cant wait for Thurs, I got a friend to go with me, she hasnt read the whole series yet so I have to kick her in the rear. Going out at lunch to the book store for my copy, will probably have to start right away, too bad I have to come back to work! yuck! Oh well, today is the bosses birthday and we decorated her cube with caution tape and posted over the hill signs. Cant wait to see her face! I read somewhere that Joe helps Steph look for Dickie to help clear her name, since she is a suspect in his disappearance. Hopefully them working together is true, will make a great story!
CA posts on 6/18/2007 8:27:55 PM HI Everyone - It is nice to see everyone start to make their way back. I can't wait to hear everone's comments. I heard some people where able to pick up a copy of LMT in some of the Walmarts, but I have a 40% coupon and Border Bucks, so I think I will only end up paying $3 or $4 dollars. Yippee. LOL LV, it would be hard for me to not start reading it in the store too. I'm glad you liked the small paragraph, it's not much, but it's always fun when we can type up paragraph stories. I meant to delete the apostrophes in the story too, so those numbers wouldn't show up, but forget to go back and do it after replacing the quotations marks. OH Well. I hope we have others out there that will throw a few stories at us, we'll probably need them after this next month and we're already whining that we won't get another book until next June 08. I think youre right about the Ranger slant, but I think I've resigned myself to the fact that Janet won't change, and as long as we have some great JOE moments, I'll be happy. I think! Maybe I shouldn't speak to soon? #1JoeFan - I'm so jealous!! You'll have to let us know all about it when you get back. It's probably going to be great and youre right, I venture to guess there will be a lot of fans there. The idea of Joe and Cooking, YUMMM!

LV posts on 6/18/2007 7:41:32 PM Hi all! I haven't posted since last fall, but I've popped by from time to time to see what was happening. It's nice to see people coming back as we anticipate LMT. I was at a Wal-Mart today, and they already had the book out for sale. I was tempted to start reading it in the store but decided to wait until finishing a James Patterson book I'm currently reading. I'm hoping for a lot of Morelli "Cupcake" moments in this book, but after reading the first couple chapters on JE's site, I've got a feeling it'll have a Ranger slant again. Maybe I'll be surprised. I hope everyone enjoys the book, and I'll look forward to reading all the comments and insights. CA- I enjoyed your writing, as usual.
CA posts on 6/18/2007 12:00:53 PM Hi TLC - I'm hoping for a lighter read and can't wait. I have my coupons and Border Bucks ready to hit the doors when they open. I have a small addition to The Story Continues for those of you that remember it. I took out the quotation marks and used dashed instead around, they seems to get messed up on this site. Hey JT - If your feeling like you are in a creative mood, why don't you treat us to an adventure with the Morelli and Manoso Kids? Well, here goes. -The Story Continues- Life After Pino’s: After Eddie left, Steph plodded back to her bed and sprawled in one of her thinking positions. Joe didn’t call or stop by last night, and after what happened at Pino’s, she couldn’t really blame him although, she had a question or two for him about his new partner and why he never mentioned her. She tried calling Joe, several times, but only got his machine and was starting to worry. Not so much about Angela because Eddie mentioned that he heard Angela, Joe’s new partner, was fine and only had a small bump and scratch from the beer bottle. It didn’t escape Eddie’s attention that Steph cringed while giving her the information that Angela was fine, and while shaking his head, he also added -She’s also aware of the circumstances that caused her to be temporarily incapacitated-. -Jeez! What was I thinking?- she thought to herself. She really missed Joe and was really looking forward to seeing him after the trip to Vegas, with Lula and Connie, and couldn’t believe how things got so out of control. She closed her eyes and tried to erase the night before out of her mind when she heard the key in the front door. -Only one person has a key- she thought. Feeling very nervous, with her stomach taking a dive and her heart racing faster, all she could do was lay there with her eyes closed hoping for the best. She could hear Joe breathing, and felt his intense look, but still all she could do was lay there, eyes closed, breathing even faster. And then she swallowed, hard, and took a deep breath letting it out slowly. -Stephanie- Joe said with a very low growl. -OH GOD- she thought, he hardly ever calls me that. She finally got up the nerve, and slowly opened one eye and then the other. There he stood, just inside the door, leaning against the dresser. His hair was wind blown, a little longer than usual and curled over his ears, and he was displaying a very sexy 5 o'clock shadow. He was holding his helmet, wearing his leather jacket and the faded blue jeans that most likely gave him the reputation of having the greatest *** in Trenton. God he looked Lean and Mean --- but his eyes where all molten chocolate.
#1JoeFan posts on 6/18/2007 11:51:01 AM I will be going on my lunch to the bookstore tomorrow! Can't wait. Also planning on heading to Cincinnati on Thurs for the book signing! I will probably be a zoo but all the more fun that way. I have loved the audio exerpts too. Now if only I could get Morelli to come over and make me some spagetti, hmm.
TLC posts on 6/18/2007 11:26:39 AM I just re-read Twelve Sharp to get ready for Lean Mean. It seems like this 13th one will be on the much LIGHTER side than 12 was. Back to the fun! I am planning on going out first thing tomorrow morning to pick up my copy.
jls posts on 6/18/2007 8:59:57 AM Hi all, wanted to pass along Borders has a 40% coupon for LMT. Just know I won't be getting much sleep Tuesday night!
CA posts on 6/16/2007 7:09:50 PM Is Everyone Ready for Lean Mean? It feels like it's been forever and I can't believe it's finally only a few days away. Things in my life have been keeping me very busy lately, but I still do a lot of reading. I've been keeping up with the ID series, of course, and can't wait until Eternity and Creation come out later this year. I've also started reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon and just finished Voyager, the Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning and getting ready to start reading Kiss of the Highlander, The Winston Brother's series by Lori Foster with Just A Hint Clint next in my TBR pile, and many, many more. I can't wait to read Lean Mean and I'm looking forward to all the comments.
t posts on 5/30/2007 11:07:16 PM HI. So....only 19 more days! I can't wait. Have any of you read the reviews on bookstore sites? Sounds interesting...
