Madeleine posts on 3/28/2008 3:42:59 PM Dear Zana. I hope that you have gotten Nadia and her children home to England where they belong. Nadia doesn't deserve a life like this, nobody does. I am not a muslim, but I have muslim friends, and they are really kind. One girl from Iran that I know read your book Sold, and she felt very sorry for you. I am writing this message because I never want you to give up. Maybe Nadia and her children are not allowed to come home tomorrow, but there are always the day after tomorrow. I really hope that they are allowed to come back to England. Hopefully you are going to read this and then you will get to know that you are one of my biggest inspirations. Anyone who tells you to give up fighting for Nadia and her children are wrong. Ma salami.

gizem posts on 3/22/2008 5:50:59 AM hello I am gizem .I am living türkiye.I dont know more english.I read the book named "SOLD".I cried read the book.I want meeting with you.I was sorry Yemen women. I was sorry to sister.I hope always , you are happy.Good days
Shirley-anne posts on 3/20/2008 7:16:22 AM I have just read sold and i have to say that iam desgusted by the way zana and nadia were treated. How on earth cn there father say he was doing what was best for his girls. A man like that dose not deserve to have children. i have read bits and peaces on the net about the girls and they Ssay that nadia is happy to be yemen. she is going to say that after all these years as it has become the only life she knows. im a mother my self and would not be able to imagin the pain and heart ake that there mother has had to go thorh. it is heart wrenching to think that now nadias children have had to endure the same fate that her sister and her have had to endure.i just want to say keep fighting the fight for nadia zana and never ever give up. you are an amazingly stroung women and other pepole should follow your exsample... take care your story will be in my heart forever.
Sian Bagley posts on 3/15/2008 11:14:51 AM Hi Zana I have read both your books and was desperately moved by your story. I have lived in such countries and know of the corruption that goes on. What really infuriated me were that group of people who took advantage of your situation and stole your money! I hope Nadia, Marcus and the children are finally home where they belong. This should never be allowed to happen.
Cal posts on 3/4/2008 7:45:21 AM Does anyone have any information about Zana - what she is doing now or possibly a 'reliable' update about Nadia? I think a lot of us are probably guessing what Zana/Nadia's situations are now. Has anyone been able to contact Zana for her to maybe give her side to all this? It must still be extremely sensitive for her having her sister possibly still in the Yemen.
Heena Samina posts on 3/2/2008 1:31:43 PM Hi Zana, I've just finished reading your book 'Sold'.I cannot believe the situations you faced in the Yemen, you are so brave, but keep fighting for Nadia and your son. I pray to Allah they get away.Take Care
amirah posts on 3/1/2008 3:52:20 PM I recently read on a yahoo website that Nadia's son went to the U.K. to live with her when he was 18 years and that Nadia eventually travelled with her children to the U.K. and then chose to return to Yemen but frequently travels to the U.K. of her own free will with her children.I contacted Andrew Croft (ghost writer for Miriam) about these stories and he confirmed them to be true.So a happy outcome for all.
savitha shankar posts on 3/1/2008 7:45:10 AM I really hope that things work out...don't give up hope.
